Kanthi Mala 3 Round Barrel-Shaped Beads
Kanthi Mala 3 Round Barrel-Shaped Beads is our boldest kanthi mala, made from long, hand-cut tulsi wood beads shaped like tiny grains, strung across three visible loops. Unlike our finer-bead styles, this one has real presence at the collar, closer to the pre-industrial kanthi malas worn before fine machine-turned beads became common. The slight unevenness between beads, an occasional rough edge, a bead longer than its neighbour, is a direct sign of hand-cutting, not a flaw to overlook. Larger beads mean a heavier feel, so it suits devotees who want their mala to be recognised rather than to disappear into daily wear. It is also the most expensive mala in the collection, reflecting the extra wood and individual shaping each barrel bead requires.
